DOCK SEALS

Dock seals are used to help protect goods, workers, and trailers while loading and unloading. The seal provides a weather-resistant barrier, reducing energy costs by controlling airflow and cooling costs, as well as helping to keep pests and debris out of the trailer. In addition, the seals provide a secure fit between the truck and the dock, reducing possible dock damage and helping to maintain product quality.

  2. Dock shelters
  3. Inflatable dock seals

When choosing a dock seal, there are several factors to consider, including your temperature goals, the size and type of the dock, the size and shape of the trailer, the amount of sunlight exposure, and the surrounding environment. Once these factors have been evaluated, you can choose an appropriate dock seal for your needs.

COMPRESSION (FOAM) DOCK SEALS

Compression dock seals are designed to provide a seal between the truck and the loading dock when loading or unloading. They are constructed of an industrial grade PVC vinyl, wood frame, and feature a foam-filled, double flap design that creates a snug fit between the trailer and the dock. The foam filler helps protect goods and workers from potential hot and cold air, noise, wind, snow, dirt, debris, insects, birds, and animals that can enter when a trailer is at the dock. Combines the advantage of low cost and excellent sealing action.

DOCK SHELTERS

Dock shelters are a type of loading dock seal equipment that helps protect goods, workers, and the facility from various environmental elements. The dock shelter acts as a barrier against wind, dirt, debris, insects, birds, animas, rain, and snow while providing a seal when a trailer is at the dock. Most dock shelters are made of a heavy-duty fabric, like vinyl, and a steel or wood frame.

For use with doors up to 10′ W x 11’H.

Also reduces oversized doors to match truck opening.

A shelter gives full height and width access to the rear of the trailer.

Ideal for trucks with varying heights, where the entire truck opening must be accessible for loading.

Supporting structure is made galvanized steel.

INFLATABLE DOCK SEALS

Inflatable dock seals are designed to improve environmental control and energy efficiency during loading and unloading. These seals are typically constructed of an industrial grade PVC coated fabric and feature an inflatable bladder that is filled with air to create a snug fit between the trailer and the dock. Inflatable dock seals help to keep out hot and cold air, noise, wind, snow, dirt, debris, insects, birds, and animals that can enter when a trailer is at the dock.
